The Air Marine group of companies’ headquarters are in Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia. The company was formed in 1981 by its present Managing Director Mr William Chiew and was originally setup as a freight forwarder and customs clearance agent.

Over the last 20 years the company has grown into a successful and reliable logistics partner in East Malaysia and is now expanding its operations to West Malaysia and beyond. The extensive fleet of equipment and assets nowadays include:

	Over 250 vehicles (Prime movers, Container chassis, Lowbeds, Dumptrucks, General lorries, Lorry cranes, Concrete mixers, Cement tankers, etc)
	Over 120 hydraulic and crawler cranes ranging from 15 to 400 tonnes capacity
	Over 60 acres of open yard space and 45,000 ft2 covered warehouse space
	Numerous pieces of auxiliary construction equipment (Skylifts, Manlift, Forklift, Scissor lift)
	100 pcs Portacabin to be used as temporary offices or worker’s housing

	A 45 tonnes mobile stone crusher on the way to the Bakun Dam construction site situated approx. 150 km from Bintulu town.
	One of may smaller pieces of equipment supplied to the MLNG tiga project during its construction in Bintulu.

One of the latest developments in the group’s organization is the formal setup of a Heavy Contracting Division in a separate company called Air Marine Project Engineering. The new division was introduced to further enhance and expand the abilities in the specialised business of handling extremely large and heavy items.
